The clients aim was to better utilise their atrium with an additional commercial space and an area to celebrate the history of the site.

The steel, glass and boiler-plate design had to complement and work around elements of the existing building.  The existing timber slats where used to incorporate new display cabinets which house items uncovered during excavations beneath the building. These cabinets, along with new display media, tell the history of the site.
